Short holiday trip

Have been quite a while since i last updated my blog...juz got back from Genting yesterday.Went on a trip with a good buddy,just to relax before school opens in less than 2 weeks time.

It was nearly 10 years since I last went to Genting and I'll have to say that Genting has changed quite a lot.You could'nt use to find shops there but now,it's shops galore!We had wanted to visit the outdoor theme park on day 1 but it was raining on the first day whereas on the second day,the fog was too thick hence the outdoor theme park was closed!Only managed to go on the third(last) day but the time was too short to take all the rides and there were some rides closed.Oh yeah for curious people,no we did'nt gamble at all but we did visit the casino.First time I've entered a casino.
Did'nt expect myself to get anything from there but I ended up with 2 shirts...here are the 2 shirts I've got!

Got this nice t-shirt at about RM25,which is about SGD$12

Got this addidas polo t for RM67,which is about SGD$30

Quite a bargain for both shirts i think...i believe it's hard to find an addidas polo t for that price.At least I've only seen addidas polo tees selling for $50+.

Here's our encounter:
Day 1:
Rained heavily in the early morning and my plans to take MRT to boon lay was disrupted.Ended up taking taxi to boon lay shopping centre,the location where we were supposed to board the bus to Genting.Bus was about 3/4 full for the trip.The bus departed at 730am.Total time of the journey to Genting was about 6-7 hours.Therefore we reached Genting at about 230pm.Put our luggage down and had kfc for lunch...there's something that you don't find in the KFC here...cheese potato wedges!

We window shopped for a while before having our drinks at starbucks.I had passion tea which i regretted ordering!Very Very SOUR!!!!


Had hainanese roasted chicken rice for dinner that night.We also caught a late night movie,Invisible Target.Nice chinese show(if not one of the best for the year),too bad it was in cantonese there.Their cinema was also very unique.The seats in the first row were OSIM massage chairs!We did'nt want to be seated in the first row,hence we took the normal seats and the tickets only costed RM10 each person.

Day 2:

Weather was too foggy and we could'nt visit the theme park.Hence went shopping instead!We also went to the hot pool there.

Day 3:

Weather was really good,clear skies.Wasted no time in visiting the outdoor theme park.We tried Flying Coaster,Viking Ship,Go Kart and Spinner.Felt "high" went taking the Viking Ship!Too bad we could'nt spend much time there!Left Genting at 3pm and *Home Sweet Home*
