Christmas Luncheon

Today is my company's(HP in case if you do not know) christmas luncheon aka company dinner(lunch in this case).It was held at furama riverfront hotel.Met up with a friend i knew recently during my course.
We arrived at furama riverfront hotel at 11+ and registered our attendance at the reception,it was also to register for lucky draw later on.They asked us to come at 11am but we were only allowed to enter at 12pm.But at least during that period,refreshment drinks were served.It was free seating so we just seated onto any nearest available seats from the entrance.There were laptop bags and calenders placed in every of our seat;how nice,no need to purchase a laptop bag already!
Lunch was served pretty shortly(can't remember how many course,should be 8).Lunch was'nt that great but at least it was decent.During our lunch,presentations were being made out...to reward people who had compliments,good performance,help to raise leads from school to purchase products from HP and stuffs like that.The incentives are pretty good but unfortunately I'm not 1 of those who are being presented with cash vouchers.After the presentations,there was karaoke competition where 11 singers(12 because the last one was a duet).Some of the singers sang really well while the others were crap(ok,i'm not good myself to comment on others)!
In the midst of the karoke competitions,there were 3 breaks when the lucky draw is being held.Only 30 prizes were being presented out,mostly watches and IT products.The top prize being an IPAQ pda phone which we were told to be worth $1k+.Less,luck was'nt on my side...I came home empty handed from the lucky draw.
