Stuttering Interview...

On last thursday,20 April,I received a call from SMU admissions to go for an interview and essay session today!Was filled with mixed emotions.Glad that I was asked to go to the interview on one hand,but on the other,afraid that I might not make it into the University.
True enough,the latter befall upon me!Arrived at SMU at about 9.50am and went for registeration.Went up to lv 2 and waited in one of the classes for people to arrive.Once everybody arrived,we were briefed on what to expect for the interview.We were informed that we're a few of the 5000 choosen for interview with onlt 500+ slots.Most of the people in the class were women.In my group of 8,I was the only guy and what's more,I was one of the 3 poly students in the group!There were 2-3 girls who caught my eye(1 of them was sharon woo,,who's working in SPH,she even asked us to join the TNP Big Walk!).We were given the topic "Coping with the threat of gloabal talent shortage - with 'buying' leaders becoming very difficult,'building' leaders is the only way to success".We were given 10 mins to read the article.Was a little stunned by the topic and did'nt really know how to react.Went to another room where we were introduced to 2 assitant proffessors.There,we introduced ourselves and started off with our discussions.There were a few people standing for the decision of buying talents while I stood my ground on buying talents for now,while building talents for the future.Was stuttering throughout my "speech"(did'nt talk much so i guess i farked it up!).The jc girls were eloquent and sharp in their speech(guess I really have no hope!)
Then came the essay writing.We were given 2 topics,1)Tell your friend about your saddest day in life 2)Write an essay of not more than 500 words about misfortune.I chose to write about the saddest day in my life but I guess I should have wrote about the 2nd question as I was stuck midway through writing the essay.I wrote about my grandmother,my only relative close to me who passed away.I felt that it was'nt well written either.
So god,i'll hope i'll get the chance!Pls!I'll reqlinquish the chance to do a re-interview(if there's one).Really hope that I can get into the university.P.S. Hope to meet up with sharon again! =p
